Thank you for your interest in joining Lone Star Task Force, a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit  Search & Rescue & Emergency Response organization. Our  meetings are held quarterly and information will be posted on our LSTF memeber facebook group. Prospective ​members will be given access to the members page once the application has been approved and background check processed.

To Begin ; 

1) Complete the required forms and email to

  • Membership Application Supplement

  • Release of Information Consent (for background check purposes)

  • Waiver of Liability

2) Attend 3 member meetings, callouts, trainings or Events (each counts as a meeting)

  •  Complete the following online certifications and email to

    •  IS 100.b

    •  IS 317

    •  IS 700.a

    •  IS 809

(Note: The above certifications are FREE and online. It will take about 8hrs to complete all the courses

3)      Obtain and produce an active CPR/First Aid certification.

(Note: If you have this then please email a photo of your card to If you do not have this certification then don’t feel obligated to rush out and get it. We will help you with this as we have courses periodically throughout the year.

Lone Star Task Force is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and therefore donations made to the organization are tax deductible contributions.
