Lone Star Task Force (Texas LSTF) is a 501(c)(3) organization that started as a group of like-minded Texans from all walks of life who sought to train in team tactics and how to effectively work together in disaster situations, medical triage, weapons training. After three years of training we decided why not utilize the manpower and the resources we have and help the community. We set off to challenge this task. We aim to provide professional support and mutual aid to local, state and federal agencies across the state of Texas.   

LSTF was founded in 2015 and consists of over 50 members who are current and prior Law Enforcement, Military, First Responders, Medical personnel, as well as many other professions. All members possess prerequisite certifications in FEMA ICS command structure, while many others possess additional training & certifications pertaining to Flood & Swiftwater, Security, and Communication operations. 

LSTF deployable assets include Switftwater Teams, Search & Rescue (SAR) Teams, HAM Radio Teams, Support Teams, High-Water vehicles, Drones for aerial SAR/Reconnaissance (including 14 CFR Part 107 certified operators), and many more in order to handle the most demanding of situations be it Search & Rescue, Emergency/Disaster Response, or Tactical Support.   


Search & Rescue "S.A.R"

The Search & Rescue Team assists in Search & Rescue operations utilizing, ATVs, Water Craft, Off road support vehicles and skills learned to locate missing persons and to collect evidence.

Emergency/Disaster Response

The ERT Teams respond to natural and man made disasters. They provide support for flood rescue, aiding in evacuations, light medical support, debris removal, and other tasks as needed.

Tactical Support

The Tactical Support Team assists communities, federal, state and local authorities in specialized tasks requested by Law Enforcement or Government Authorities.  

Lone Star Task Force (TEXAS LSTF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. To the extent allowed by law, contributions are deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
